Instructor(s):
Steve Horn began his utility industry career in 2001 with Neptune
Technology Group and was the Territory Manager in New England for 16
years. In 2018, Steve became the Regional Solutions Manager for Sedaru, a
leading ESRI-based asset management solutions provider for the public
works and water industry. In 2021, Mr. Horn joined EJ Prescott with their
Smart Utility Group handling meters, software, IoT, GIS, and other
connected solutions.
A career in the water industry unfolded unexpectedly but serendipitously for Liam during his sophomore year of college. His profound love for the outdoors and the environment, as well as his fascination with understanding how things work, led him to discover the perfect blend while working as a technician replacing water meters on a project in Vermont over winter break.
Following that, Liam joined an engineering firm as a project manager, overseeing various drinking-water projects, primarily focusing on AMI/AMR and metering. Balancing his love for the mechanical with his inner nerd, his role with EJP provides the ideal intersection. As the New England Manager of EJP’s Smart Utility Professionals, Liam actively projects the industry’s trajectory, identifying challenges, helping teammates develop strategic initiatives, and concurrently devising turnkey solutions. Beyond his professional pursuits, Liam enjoys boating, hiking, fishing, hunting, and motorcycling.
