A Summer Celebration
This year, we had our annual Conference and Trade Show at the Quonset O’Club in May. The event was our largest yet, with over 400 attendees and over 45 vendors. The trade show showcased some of our biggest supporters, such as our associate member of the year, EJ Prescott, and highlighted our commitment to providing high-tech training sessions. A crowd favorite was the tasting competition for the best disinfected and nondisinfected water in Rhode Island. This year, LADD center won the disinfected and Bethel Village won the nondisinfected! And Bethel Village won the overall best tasting category. We were very grateful for Senator Jake Reed’s attendance at the trade show and his continued support of our organization.
To wrap up the event, we had Friday’s golf tournament at the North Kingstown Golf Course, which entailed a four-person scramble where some of our members got to showcase their driving skills. With the success of this summer’s event, we are eager to begin planning for 2026. We aim to secure an even larger venue, invite additional vendors, and introduce expanded training and networking opportunities for attendees. With more support, we can bring even greater events for the future.
