Emerging Data Technologies for Unaccounted for Water with Meters, Leak Detection and GIS

March 20 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Time: 8:00am – 12:00am     Place: 253 Pascoag Main Street, Pascoag, RI     TCH(s): 4 (RI DOH)

Cost: FREE                        Instructor: Steve Horn

Course Outline:

With the need to minimize all water leaks and unaccounted for water, we will show you how new
technologies combined with standard practices allow water systems to reduce their
unaccounted water. With data streaming from a variety of sources, this allows communities to
strategically locate and fix their system in a seamless and data driven approach.
The presentation will show how water meters and data analytics can identify problem points in
your system. We will also demonstrate how coordinated leak detection efforts can capture data
points in your distribution network. Bringing all this data into a mapping system to help identify
and perform efficient work from the office to the outside personnel. Please ask about hybrid
training options.
