All drinking water, wastewater and/or water professionals/operators,

maintenance and management personnel will benefit from taking this training. This
training is planned for those who work in the wastewater and/or water industry. The
training covers emerging contaminants which are chemicals or materials characterized
by a perceived, potential, or real threat to human health or the environment or by a lack
of published health standards. The following topics will be covered: Understanding the
complexity and impacts of Emerging Contaminants, Being able to identify the sources of Emerging Contaminants, Learn how chemical development initiated Emerging Contaminants, Identifying potential treatment options for your facilities.
