Course Outline:
This is a refresher course. This will not serve as a certification. Topics covered will be:
o OSHA 1926 & 1910 standards
o What is a confined space and planning for entry
o Identifying hazards before entering and while occupied.
o Gas detectors how to use and how to calibrate and how often.
o Different gases and the percentages requirements and symptoms.
o Atmospheric detection and monitoring.
o Equipment and how to inspect it.
o Permit required and hot work
o Work with and practice set up equipment
o Rescue techniques
